England v Ivory Coast Friendly Kick Off Time, TV Channel, Live Stream

England end their experimental international break with another friendly clash as they continue their preparations for the World Cup in Qatar.

The Three Lions failed to shine but still secured a victory against Switzerland at Wembley last week. Harry Kane scored a brace to tie Bobby Charlton’s international record.

He is just four strikes behind Wayne Rooney’s tally of 53 as he bids to become England’s all-time top scorer.

Kane will be hoping to get closer to that total when Gareth Southgate’s men take on Ivory Coast in the capital on Tuesday night.

The Ivorians conceded in the 93rd minute last time out against world champions France, proving they can mix it up with elite football teams.

Wilfried Zaha will be eager to impress against the national team he played for twice before switching allegiance as he hasn’t played a competitive game for England.

Our prediction: England v Ivory Coast

England don’t need to be spectacular, they just need to keep tweaking, testing and trying out their systems to ensure they are better prepared for Qatar 2022.

Southgate received far too much criticism – as did his side – for their performance against Switzerland, despite yet another victory against a very capable side.

The England boss won’t change his plans, regardless of the exam. He’s likely to give his new boys another chance to impress. Giving game time to debutants will prove far more valuable for England in the long run than fielding the strongest XI and picking up a big win.

Our prediction: England 2-1 Ivory Coast (2/15 at bet365)
