Family drinks to pair with summer games
This summer, there will be tons of new releases for Switch, PC, and other platforms. No matter what you’re looking forward to, there’s a mocktail to accompany your next favorite track. Here are some of the titles and their matching drinks.
WanderOrange Boost Juice
To celebrate the upcoming adventures of the feline main character in Wander, everyone should think orange! This little marmalade cat would definitely approve of this citrus and vegetable drink.
- 2 oranges
- 2 mangoes
- 1 carrot
Wash, then peel and seed the produce. Pass everything through a juicer or blender and strain. Serve over ice.
Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes‘ Three Ingredient Fruit Lemonade
This three-ingredient drink is sure to be a big hit with fire emblemthe new title. This hack-and-slash game will pair with chopped and sliced lemon pie.
- 1 package frozen lemonade concentrate
- 1 lemon
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 4 cups of ice cream
- Mint leaves
Wash and cut the lemons. Take a large pitcher and add the frozen blueberries and lemonade concentrate. Fill pitcher 3/4 full with ice. Pour in about six cups of water and stir, letting the lemonade concentrate melt. Crush a few mint leaves at the bottom of the glass. Add lemon slices to a glass, then serve the lemonade over ice.
Kaichu: The Kaiju Dating Simulator‘s Pink Watermelon Drink
Kaichu is an adorable dating game where giant monsters go on dates together and destroy buildings. To celebrate, let’s break some watermelon into a delicious, Kaichu-colored drink.
- 4 cups watermelon, cubed, seeds removed
- 1 lime
- 1 1/2 cups ginger ale or sparkling water
Put the watermelon in a blender. Add the juice of 1/2 of the lime. Once mixed, strain through cheesecloth. Add ginger ale to watermelon juice and serve over ice.

neon white is out now on Switch, and this hot summer title needs a bit of a chill with some iced white coffee. No need to stir; just find a delicious cold brew at your local grocery store.
- 1 cup cold brew coffee
- 1/2 cup coconut cream or coconut milk
- 2 tablespoons sweet grated coconut
- 10 mint leaves
- whipped cream (optional)
Crush the mint in a shaker, then fill with ice. Add coffee and coconut milk and shake. Strain to filter the pieces of mint leaves. Pour over a cup filled with ice, then add the coconut flakes and stir. Garnish with whipped cream.
Bear and breakfastToasted Marshmallow Campfire Latte
Make your own camping holiday over a drink with Bear and breakfast. Mix your usual coffee with something fresh and delicious.
- 1 cup of cold brew coffee or 2 shots of espresso
- Touch of vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons marshmallow fluff
- 1/2 cup milk or oat milk
- Mini marshmallows for serving (optional)
- Chocolate syrup (optional)
- whipped cream (optional)
Combine ice, milk, coffee and fluff in a blender, then pour into a glass. Sprinkle with mini marshmallows, whipped cream and/or chocolate sauce as desired.
