Halloween will be here soon and there are plenty of fun Halloween events across Connecticut for the whole family to attend and enjoy.

Halloween 2022 in Connecticut

Pumpkintown USA is for all ages. See 100 Pumpkinhead people and their pets.

It’s open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., weather permitting, until Halloween.

Reservations are required for the one-mile drive through Pumpkintown Forest where you’ll see over 30 Pumpkinhead residents in 17 different environments.

The place of the dinosaurs will have its annual Pumpkin Passage on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m.

There is a toddler-friendly lights trail and fun family activities every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

The 20-minute round trip to the Danbury Railway Museum stops at its patch, where kids can choose their own pumpkin. Enjoy apple cider and cookies.

The Pumpkin Patch at the Shore Line Trolley Museum is open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturdays and Sundays.

General admission includes a trolley ride, tour of the grounds, a pumpkin and a book of puzzles for each child.

The website says attendees can play fall-themed lawn games, join costumed colonial docents as they cook over an open fire pit, weave and weave linen, or hammer in the blacksmith’s forge. .

New London Halloween Town will be at New London Waterfront Park from 6-9pm

It includes a costume contest for children in kindergarten through fifth grade at the town wharf at 7:30 p.m.

October 22: Ivoryton Village Pumpkin Festival, Ivoryton

The Village of Ivoryton Pumpkin Festival Parade will be at 4 p.m. The parade will proceed from the corner of Walnut Street to the park in the village of Ivoryton.

The event will take place in the community center’s multi-purpose room at 8 Simpson Street from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There will be games, a dance party with a DJ, a wagon ride, a costume contest, prizes and more.

The Halloween Spectacular is a free event at the New Britain Museum of Art from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be a slime lab, cartoon drawing, Inside-Out family visits, a parade and costume contest, and a dance performance.

Trick-or-treat on the grounds of the Hill-Stead Museum along an outdoor trail with candy drop stations. There will also be a spooky display.
