Japan vs Brazil, international friendly match: times, TV, how to watch online
Japan vs Brazil: preview
After beating South Korea in Seoul, Brazil now face another international friendly in Asia as they travel to Tokyo to take on Japan.
On Thursday, two penalties from Neymar, along with goals from Richarlison, Philippe Coutinho and Gabriel Jesus, handed a 5-1 victory to Tite’s men, unbeaten since losing the Copa America final to Argentina last July .
Japan also head into Monday’s clash on an unbeaten streak, having won seven and drawn one since descending on Saudi Arabia in October’s World Cup qualifier.
Hajime Moriyasu’s side, which like Brazil will compete in the World Cup later this year, continued their preparations for Qatar 2022 with a 4-1 friendly against Paraguay three days ago thanks to strikes by Takuma Asano, Daichi Kamada, Kaoru Mitoma and Ao Tanaka.
Japan never beat Japan; indeed, they have lost their last six meetings with the Seleção, dating back to 2005. When the two teams last met, in a 2017 friendly in Lille, the Brazilians beat Samurai Blue 3-1.
