Local beer and Nintendo games in Greenville, SC
Double Stamp Brewery at Holland Park in Greenville, SC is a fun place to relax and have fun together while enjoying locally made beer and soda and playing Nintendo.
While I enjoy a good craft beer, I love playing Nintendo even more so when we got an invitation to check out old school Nintendo games on Double Timbre Brewery, it was a “yes!” easy. But to my surprise, not only was the Nintendo game great fun, but the beer, which is made on site with local ingredients, was top notch.

Double Timbre Brewery
Double Stamp Brewery is part of Holland Park in Greenville, which includes Flying Rabbit Adventures, Home team BBQand Greektown Express. It’s fairly new, having only opened in 2021, but they’re already making a name for themselves with a Sunday market from noon to 4 p.m. and rave reviews.
Double Stamp is 90s themed, which makes my heart happy. There are Vanilla Ice cards under the glass at the bar and posters of VHS tapes, which totally confused my kids.
The brewery doesn’t sell food, but you can grab your beer and head to Greektown or the Home Team BBQ and eat there, or bring food from either location to the brewery.
Double Stamp brews all of their beers in-house and using local ingredients whenever they can. They have quite the operation in their backs and it’s a sight to behold. I tried the Laces Out, a delicious, light wheat beer, and the heavier Cinnamon Roast Crunch, an imperial breakfast stout. It was so delicious and the general manager, Julie, added a bit of another beer to it to make it even more amazing. I don’t know what she was doing but it was great. Ask for it when you leave.

I’m not a soda drinker at all, but when I saw Julie and the brewmaster strain blood orange juice from freshly zested and peeled blood oranges, I think I changed my mind. . They were also making cherry soda, which is just cherries, sugar, and soda water.
Then I got to try their Vanilla Cupcake soda, which is on tap, and what a wake up call. It was so, so good, flavorful and light, and not at all like any store-bought soda. It’s a great option for non-drinkers and kids or if you just want to try something new and delicious.
Let’s move on to Nintendo games! Double Stamp has two places to play Nintendo – one at the bar with wireless controllers and the other in front of a large TV with comfy sofas and chairs.
We sat at the bar and had so much fun. I immediately started playing Super Mario Bros 3, which readers may know is one of my favorite old school games, and man, I wish they had three players for not having to give a controller to one of my children. I love experiences where you can play games with your kids and this one was so much fun due to the great environment and laid back brewery vibe.
It would also be a great idea for a date – have a drink while playing Nintendo and have dinner at Home Team or Greektown. You can even eat outside on Double Stamp’s upstairs alfresco patio. Or head to Flying Rabbit Adventures, which we highly recommend, then enjoy games and local beers. Lots of options!
They have Trivia nights and the brewery is pet-friendly.
