Northampton Shopping Center announces new dog-friendly policy
Grosvenor shopping in Northampton town center has announced that it will welcome dogs into its center with the unveiling of a new dog-friendly policy.
The new policy was announced following National Love Your Pet Day on February 20 and will see dogs allowed into Grosvenor Shopping Northampton’s malls, as well as many of its larger stores.
Grosvenor Commercial Director James Roberts said: ‘We are delighted to announce that Grosvenor Shopping Northampton and many of our stores will now be dog friendly with
“As a centre, we have always prided ourselves on our deep ties to the local community and the relaxed and unique shopping experience we provide.
“We hope that the introduction of this new dog-friendly policy will allow us to go even further in creating a welcoming space for our visitors to bring their dogs from now on.
“For my part, I look forward to welcoming all of our new four-legged guests.”
Primark, HMV, Next and Lush are just some of the shops in the center that will now allow dogs to visit, with several food outlets – such as Zapato Lounge and Muffin Break – also adopting the policy.
Although some stores remain restricted to service dogs only, the policy has seen the majority of Grosvenor Shopping Northampton high street and independent retailers adopt
The mall reminds dog owners that dogs should be supervised at all times and that no anti-social behavior will be tolerated.
