Pollinator-friendly lawns on Prairie Yard & Garden February 17

GRANITE FALLS, Minn. — The next Prairie Yard & Garden episode Thursday, Feb. 17 at 7:30 p.m. on Pioneer PBS features a trip to the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum to learn more about pollinator-friendly lawns. PY&G host Mary Holm visits Mary Meyer, professor of horticulture at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, who shares the latest trends in alternatives to traditional turf. “The Buzz About Bee Lawns” will be rebroadcast on Saturday, February 19 at 4 p.m. and Monday, February 21 at 1 p.m. and can be viewed online at www.pioneer.org/pyg and on Youtube immediately after broadcast.
