Sailors Announce Fan-Friendly and Value Options for 2022

Fans attending Seattle Mariners games at T-Mobile Park this season will experience a few game-day improvements, from better lobbies flow and faster service at concession stands to free top-ups on all fountain drinks and at great prices on stadium fares and beer.

“Fans are at the heart of everything we do. We want to welcome and celebrate our fans at every Mariners game by making the T-Mobile Park experience the best it can be, and that started with listening to our fans and making changes that will make an already great ballpark even better.” said the Mariners. President of Business Operations Catie Griggs.

The Mariners and hotel partner Sodexo Live! are launching a new menu of ballpark favorites for $3 each. Items include:

In addition to the Coke products featured on the Value menu, all Coke fountain drinks at T-Mobile Park will come with free refills. Fan-facing soda foundations will be placed near concession stands throughout the stadium where guests will fill their own standard 16oz or 32oz souvenir cups. In addition to free refills, fan-oriented fountains will reduce the time customers spend in lines for orders to be filled.

During the offseason, the Mariners reviewed the Main and View Level lobbies and the T-Mobile ‘Pen to identify areas of congestion, ways to reduce lines at concession stands and improve views in the field. As a result, several smaller portable food, drink and merchandise stands closest to the pitch on the main level have been replaced with fewer and larger locations that have more outlets. At the view level, the Kids Club kiosk has been co-located with the Kids Corner activities and fan-facing soda fountains have been added to 10 locations.

These changes are in addition to changes made in 2021 that helped expedite entry to the ballpark with the expansion of the left-field gate, contactless entry scanners for digital tickets, and cashless transactions for all food, drink and merchandise purchases at T-Mobile Park, which speeds up transaction times and reduces lineups.

The Mariners and Major League Baseball have partnered with Extreme Networks to completely refresh every element of the Wi-Fi experience at T-Mobile Park. The new Wi-Fi 6 standard will increase capacity (over 650 access points), resiliency and use bandwidth more efficiently to ensure fans have the best possible experience. Additionally, industry-leading user analytics provided by MLB and Extreme help the Mariners organization optimize mobile operations while continuously meeting the ever-changing demands of the fan base.
