The Super Falcons will face the American world champions in 2 friendlies
The Nigeria women’s national soccer team, the Super Falcons, will play two friendlies against the United States Women’s National Team (USWNT) later this year.
The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has announced the friendly match between the Super Falcons and the USWNT on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.
The Super Falcons, who faced Canada most recently, will test their power against the world champions in September.

On Saturday, September 3, the Super Falcons take on the USWNT at Children’s Mercy Park in Kansas City, Kansas.
Game 2 is Tuesday, September 6 at Audi Field in Washington, D.C.
Speaking ahead of the clash with the USWNT team, Vlatko Andonovski explained his expectations.
He said: “First of all, I’m just delighted to play two games against Nigeria. They have very talented players who will present us with a lot of different problems to solve on both sides of the ball.
“Second, of course, we’re looking forward to bringing the team back to one of the best football stadiums in the United States in Kansas City, as well as playing our first game at Audi Field, which I’ve visited several times. for NWSL games and is also a fantastic venue for our team to play in front of our local fans.
The United States have already qualified for the 2023 FIFA World Cup in New Zealand and Australia, while the Super Falcons are currently taking part in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco in hopes of also qualify.
It will serve as a test match for both teams ahead of future assignments and keep them busy in the next international window.
